Post subject:  LAN\WAN utilization and Flow Control

just a quick FYI.

With recent updates of windows 7 64 bit. the default settings for your LAN adapter continue to be "Flow Control Disabled" Flow control is a crucial part of TCP/IP and IS REQUIRED for window correction.
Over WAN this being disabled is not as apparent as across your local LAN, but an example is my network. With this disabled I was only getting a bouncing result between 40 and 70% out of 100mb. With flow control on I get a constant (with minimal bounces) at 95-99% of my pipe. I was experiencing some high latency and found this is set back to default hope this helps for those always looking for a lower latency route.
