This just in.... Leggo my Eggo: Kellogg's faces waffle shortage The food company cites flooding in one of its plants. Waffle lovers had better run to the frozen-food section of their grocery stores. Kellogg's (K) said it is facing a shortage of its frozen Eggo waffles -- and it's expected to last through the middle of 2010. Kellogg had to shut down an Atlanta bakery in October because of flooding, putting production of the favorite frozen breakfast treat on hold. Compounding the problem were equipment repairs to the company's biggest waffle bakery in Rossville, Tenn. _________________
